Our Mission:

1. Establish and enhance industry standards of quality and expertise
2. Expand accessibility and opportunity for clients and providers
3. Pursue, promote, and protect the interests of providers and facilities

The UMTPG is committed to establishing universal industry standards of quality service and expertise. Clients, facilities, and staff gain confidence and appreciation in your abilities and professionalism when you become a certified UMTPG member.

With an exponentially growing elderly population and shifts in insurance and reimbursement, the need for various types of transportation is increasing. To meet these growing needs, the UMTPG is dedicated to promoting the diverse non-emergency transportation capabilities of our members which include ambulatory, wheelchair, and stretcher transportation.

Patient transportation is a mission-essential service for hospitals, facilities, dialysis centers and more. Thus, as an advocacy organization for the medical transportation industry, the UMTPG is dedicated to accommodating and promoting these needs. Non-emergency transportation providers are saving clients, facilities, and organizations considerable cost by providing more cost effective solutions as compared to using ambulance services for non-emergency transportation.
